Marguerite J. Minnie

Marguerite Jeanne [Roberts] Minnie, 97, formerly of 269 Stony Hill Road passed away peacefully on Monday evening, December 21, 2020 in Walpole, New Hampshire. Marguerite was born on January 26, 1923 in Springfield, a daughter of the late Alfred and Rosia [Ethier] Roberts.  She went to local schools and graduated from Commerce High School in Springfield, MA. She was married on May 28, 1945 in St. Aloysius Church.  She and her husband, Roland "Nicky" Minnie were married for 56 years before his passing on Sept. 10, 2001.  She worked for LeBel & Crivelli Chiropractic Clinic for 19 years as an Assistant, and retired after 10 years of working at Janlyn Corp. in1990. She had many hobbies over the years including playing bingo, dominoes and cards. She also liked puzzles and tending to her many plants.

Marguerite leaves her daughter, Rosalie Mougin of Walpole, NH and her longtime partner, Bob as well as her sister, Therese Goodnow of Wilbraham, MA and many nieces, nephews and extended members of the Minnie family. She was sadly predeceased by; her loving husband of 56 years, Roland "Nicky" Minnie in 2001, her son, Richard E. Minnie, her brother Alfred Roberts Jr., and her sisters, Dorothy Chmura & Estelle McConnell. Marguerite will be interred alongside her late husband, Roland in a private service at the Massachusetts Veterans memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
