Marguerite M. Twombly

Marguerite M. Twombly 1920-2009   Marguerite M. (Jodoin) Twombly, 88, of Indian Orchard passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center.  Born on May 10, 1920 in Coaticook, Quebec, Canada she was the daughter of the late Amade and Marie (Ouelette) Jodoin.  Marguerite moved to Indian Orchard as a young child and attended Springfield schools. She was employed for several years with Associated Engineers of Indian Orchard.  She had also been employed by Buxton Inc. and Electronic Coils Inc. Marguerite was a communicant of St. Jude Church (formerly St. Aloysius) of Indian Orchard.  She loved gardening, especially her roses.  Marguerite was predeceased by her brothers, Omer, Benoit, Herme, Lawrence and Gerard Jodoin and by her sisters, Angelina Thyse and Rita Chenevert.  She is survived by her husband of (60) years, Arthur A. Twombly; her son Kevin Keegan Twombly and his wife Theresa of Kingston, NY; her daughter Lisa A. Ruell of Palmer: and four grandchildren, Katherine and Colleen Kegan Twombly and Allan and Sean Ruell.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2009, from the Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St., Indian Orchard at 9:30 a.m., followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Jude Church at 10 a.m.  Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard.
