Marie C. Harrison

Marie C. Harrison 1907-2008   Marie C. (Henry) Harrison, 101, of Chicopee, passed away in the Birch Manor Nursing Home on Friday, July 18, 2008.  She was born in Springfield and lived most of her life in Indian Orchard and Chicopee.  Marie was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church of Ludlow.  For many years she worked as a seamstress for Cromwell Mills of Indian Orchard.  She was an active member of the Ludlow Senior Center, where she enjoyed playing Bridge with her friends. Marie loved to vacation on Cape Cod and had a passion for doing Cross Word Puzzles.  She was predeceased by her husband William H. Harrison, daughter, Violet and sons John and Ronald W. Harrison.  She is survived by her grandson, Ronald W. Harrison and daughter-in-law, Frances Harrison of Chicopee.  Marie also leaves her nieces Ruth Thrasher, Barbara Lindsey and her husband Harry and nephew Frank Henry.
