Marilyn Clark (Sunter) Dube, aged 83, passed away January 25, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Ludlow, born on August 16, 1941, to her late parents, Tom and Ellen (Wilson) Sunter. Marilyn graduated from Ludlow High School and shortly after married her husband of 57 years, Donald L. Dube. She retired from her position as a bank teller from Freedom Credit Union in Springfield, MA. Marilyn’s life was centered around her home and her family. She will be remembered as a great wife and mother who created a life of consistency and stability for her family. When her sons were young, she was a Cub Scout Leader, and for years to follow the family would camp together all over the east coast. Marilyn enjoyed reading and traveling, in particular, to Cape Cod and Maine, as well as on many cruises with Donald. Marilyn is predeceased by her parents and her husband, her brother Gordon Sunter, and her sister-in-law Doris Dube. She is survived by her brother Tom and his wife Joan Sunter of Ludlow, her sons Steven and his wife Luigina Dube of Ludlow, and Craig and his wife Jacqueline of Southampton, her grandchildren Anthony, Joseph, Matthew, Megan, and Kayla, and her great-grandchildren Joseph Jr., Zeleyna, Fianna, and Paul. Visitation will be Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Ratell Funeral Home at 200 Main St, Indian Orchard, with a Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Parish in Ludlow, and Rites of Committal to follow at Island Pond Cemetery.
