Marsha M Plourde

Marsha M. (Merkel) Plourde, 79, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon at BSMC/Wing Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Marsha was born in Ludlow, a daughter of the late Joseph and Grace (Curtis) Merkel. The family resided in Indian Orchard and Marsha attended local schools, including the High School of Commerce in Springfield. She married Clifford C. Plourde in 1962 and they enjoyed many years of love, family, and happy memories. Marsha loved dancing to the “oldies.” She had a keen eye for fashion and interior design, making sure her home was an enchanting and comforting place for family and friends. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She leaves her beloved husband of 60 years, Clifford C. Plourde; her devoted daughter, Pamela Walczak and her husband Brian of Ludlow; and her cherished grandchildren: Abby, Nick, Gabby and Lauren.
