Mary E. Dunlap

SPRINGFIELD-Mary E. (Richard) Dunlap, 71, of Phoenix terrace passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 5, 2020. Mary was born in Ludlow on July 21, 1948, a daughter of the late Lionel and Rita (Boyer) Richard. She was raised and educated in Springfield and attended local schools. Mary worked for K-Mart in the Lay-A-Way Department over 20 years and then owned and operated Grammy's Daycare in Springfield for 10 year before retiring in 2008. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Donald C. Dunlap in 1995. She leaves her daughter; Barbara Mason and longtime partner, James White IV of Springfield. Her son, Christopher B. Dunlap and his wife Donna of Chicopee.  Her beloved grandchildren; Emily and Kyle White of Springfield, CJ Dunlap of Chicopee and Amber Lindenfeld and her husband, Andrew Lindenfeld of Springfield and two great grandchildren; Aiden and Aurora. She also leaves her sister, Jannette Roy of Indian Orchard and a nephew John Roy and his wife Lisa from Springfield. At Mary's request all services will be private with an interment of her ashes in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
