Marylou Thibodeau

Marylou Thibodeau 1938-2010   Marylou Thibodeau, 71, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2010.  Born in St. Francis, Maine, she was a resident of Springfield for the past 48 years.  She was a loving and devoted wife and homemaker.  She enjoyed games of chance and looked forward to her trips to the casinos, particularly, Foxwoods. Marylou was a communicant of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, a member of the American Legion Post #420 Ladies Auxiliary and the Eagles Club all of Springfield.  She leaves her loving husband of 52 years, Garvin E. "Pete" Thibodeau, several nieces and nephews and extended family members.  Marylou was predeceased by her mother, Geneva and by a brother, Laurence Pelletier.  Calling hours will be held at the Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St., Indian Orchard on Sunday, January 17, 2010 from 2 to 5 p.m.  Committal services will be on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 in the Veterans' Chapel at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Agawam at 2 p.m.  Memorial contributions in Marylou's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA  01701-9376.  For Guest Book: ratellfuneralhome.com Ratell Funeral Home (413) 543-3836
