Nancy L. Barry 1939-2008 Nancy (Lennon) Barry, 69, of Indian Orchard, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2008 in Mercy Medical Center. Born in Boston, MA and a resident of Indian Orchard for the past (42) years, she was the daughter of the late John and Emily (Larkin) Lennon. Nancy was a graduate of the Girls Latin School of Boston and Boston State Teachers College. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly. A communicant of the former St. Matthew's Church, she was president of the former St. Matthew's Women's Guild and was a long time volunteer for the church and school. Her passion was sewing, especially making dolls which she sold at craft fairs throughout New England. She loved to travel. Nancy was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in East Springfield. She is survived by her husband of (48) years, Joseph T. Barry, her children, Nancy M. Barry and her fiancé, Arnold Roy of Turner, ME, Joseph J. Barry and his wife, Maria of Framingham, Michael F. Barry and his wife, Barbara of Palmer, Patricia B. Sheehan and her husband, Brian of West Roxbury, Christopher J. Barry and his wife, Shana of Eastport, ME, Susan E. Morin and her husband, Jeffrey of Windsor, CT, a brother, John Lennon of Agawam, two sisters, Joan Gilles of Shelton, WA, Catherine Leach of Wickford, RI and five grandchildren, Michael J. Barry, Nicholas J. Barry, Daniel P. Sheehan, Abigail E. Morin, and William B. Morin. The funeral will be Monday morning, July 28, 2008 from the Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St., Indian Orchard at 9 a.m., followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 840 Page Blvd., East Springfield at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard.
