Patricia A. Szczebak

SPRINGFIELD - Patricia A. Szczebak, 77, formerly of Groton St. in Springfield passed away peacefully on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Chicopee Rehab & Nursing Center. Patricia was born in Springfield on June 7, 1943 to the late Harold and Zilda (Machado) Nadeau. She grew up in Springfield and the Orchard and attended local schools.  Patricia worked for Spaulding Manufacturing in Chicopee and late for Springfield Wire before retiring. Her husband, Thomas Szczebak predeceased her. She leaves a daughter; Lynn Szczebak and her partner Nicholas Kolosik of Charlotte, NC. Her granddaughter, Ashley Szczebak and three great-grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, Harold Nadeau of Ludlow and three nieces. In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by a daughter Barbara Szczebak. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Monday, August 31, 2020 for a Service of  Remembrance at 3:00 p.m. at Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard (Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.) A private burial will be held in St. Aloysius Cemetery in the family lot at the convenience of the family.
