Paul Alves 1960 - 2011 LUDLOW - Paul Alves, 50, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2011. He was the son of Diane (Lortie) Paquette and the late Octavio "Tabs" Alves. Paul was a member of the Unity Club in Ludlow and was a fan of the Western Mass. Pioneers and also a fan of the New York Yankees and the Montreal Canadiens. He is survived by his mother, Diane Paquette and step-father, Gerald Paquette of Springfield; a daughter, Melissa Alves of Virginia Beach, VA; a sister, Susan Greentree and her husband, Jerry of Ludlow; a brother, Jim and his wife Karen Alves of Belchertown; a brother, David and his wife Alicia Alves of Wilbraham and a sister, Katherine Alves of Springfield. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St. Indian Orchard. There will be a Funeral Home Service at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
