Paul J. Charron

Paul J. Charron 1922-2009  Paul Joseph Charron, of Wilbraham, formerly of Indian Orchard, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2009.  Born in Springfield, and a resident of Indian Orchard for most of his life, he was the son of the late Alfred and Ernestine (Gregoire) Charron.  Paul was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School.  He was a retired inspector for the former Van Norman Co. of Springfield and for Pratt & Whitney of East Hartford, CT. He was a communicant of St. Jude Church of Indian Orchard.  Paul was predeceased by his wife, Nora (Ackerman) Charron in 2004.  He leaves his daughters, Frances Lavine and her husband Ray of Albemarle, NC, Barbara Bean and her husband Bob of Acworth, GA; (7) grandchildren; (11) great grandchildren and (11) great great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009 from the Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St., Indian Orchard at 9 a.m., followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Jude Church at 10 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard.  Calling hours will be on Sunday, July 26, 2009 from 4 to 8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701-9376.
