Springfield- Raymond G. Ashline, 65, died May 12, 2011 following a long illness. Born and educated in Springfield, he was the son of the late Edward and Eleanor (Calabrese) Ashline and was a lifelong resident of Springfield. He was last employed and retired from the Springfield School System as a bus driver. Previously, he was employed by Strathmore Paper, Westfield. Raymond loved animals and in particular, horses, dogs and birds. He is survived by 2 sisters, Eleanor J. Dubour and her husband Jerry of Ludlow, Loretta Gosslin of Springfield; a brother, Joseph Ashline of Naples, Idaho and nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held on Monday 10:00 AM at Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard, followed by burial in St. Michael's Cemetery, Springfield.
