Springfield - Raymond K. Moquin , 54, a lifelong resident of Springfield, was called home to the angels, on Tuesday, September 16, 2016, at Bay state Medical Center in Springfield. He was born June 25, 1962, to Richard and the late Claudia Moquin (Flebotte). He was raised in Springfield, and attended Roger L. Putnam Vocational Tech, and graduated with the Class of 1980. Raymond loved NASCAR and the Dallas Cowboy. He attended the races at Stafford Springs every Friday which was a true passion of his; but most of all, he cherished his family and was very young at heart. Raymond was employed as a warehouse operator at Hood Dairy in Agawam, for the past 5 years. He was predeceased by his loving mother Claudia, who was called home on January 29, 2012. Raymond leaves to cherish his memory his father; Richard Moquin; his brother, Richard F Moquin of Cape Cod, his three nephews, Brian Moquin, Richard J Moquin, and Gregory Moquin, and his niece; Danielle Moquin. Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Sunday, September 18, 2016, at The Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St, Indian Orchard, from 2pm-4pm, and 7pm-9pm. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, September 19, at 10am, at Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church, 417 Boston Road, Springfield. Friends are asked to go directly to church for 9:45 AM .Burial will follow the Mass at the St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard.
