Richard A. Jones

Richard A. Jones, 59, of Glenmore Street was called Safely Home on Saturday, April 10, 2021. He was born in Holyoke on Feb. 17, 1962, a son of the late Paul and Yvonne (Lariviere) Jones. He was raised and educate in Chicopee, attending local schools and graduated from Chicopee H.S. in 1982. Richard was an excellent Carpenter, working for several local companies, including Dennis Godbout of Springfield. He was co-owner with his longtime partner, Priscilla Martin, of Jon-Mar Home Improvement. Richard loved fishing and the great outdoors. Richard was known as a person who would always be there to help everyone out. He leaves his longtime companion, Priscilla "Pat" Martin of Springfield. His brother, Leon Jones and his wife Suzanne of Chicopee, sister Theresa and husband Mike, stepsister Nancy Grandchamp Tirozzi and husband Anthony of VT. His stepmother, Susan Jones Lemay of Quebec. He also leave Pat's children; Toni Martin Beaulieu and her fiancé Jeff Sheltra of Ludlow, Gary Martin and his wife Julie of Chicopee, many nieces, nephews and cousins. His four legged friends; his dog Ella and his cats; Ulysses, Chloe and Summer. He also leaves his close friends; Bridget Santos and baby John as well as his many friends in the area.  He was predeceased by Pat's sons; Billy, Bobby and Jimmy Martin. Due to social restrictions, Funeral Services will be held later this summer at a time to be announced.
