SPRINGFIELD-Richard E. Landry Sr., 74, of Indian Orchard passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at BSMC in Springfield. Richard was born in Ludlow on February 21, 1946 to the late Armand and Florence (Henault) Landry. He attended Cathedral High School and graduated from STCC with a degree in Accounting and Computer Programming. He proudly served in the US Army from 1967 to 1968 with the 104th Unit at Ft. Devens. Richard was a Manager with Windsor Marketing Group for 11 years in Windsor, CT. In total, he spent over 40 years in the banking industry. Richard was a member of the Catholic community and a communicant of the former St. Aloysius Church in Indian Orchard. He leaves his beloved children; Richard E. Landry Jr. and Nicole M. Landry both of Indian Orchard. His brother; Robert Landry and wife Karin of Williamstown and sister; Joan Sunter and husband Tom of Ludlow. He is also leaving five nieces and nephews. He was a great son, brother, and even more amazing father who will be greatly missed by many. A Funeral Service for Richard will be held on FRIDAY, AUGUST 7, 2020 AT 1:45 P.M. AT RATELL FUNERAL HOME, 200 MAIN ST., INDIAN ORCHARD followed by interment of his Ashes with full military honors at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam at a 3:00 P.M.
