Rita Marie Theriault

Rita M. Theriault 1921-2010 SPRINGFIELD- Rita M. (Bissonnette) Theriault, 88, a life long Springfield resident, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 7, 2010 in Wingate at West Springfield. Rita was born in Springfield on September 10, 1921, a daughter of the late Hector G. and Anna M. (Dunhaime) Bissonnette. She was employed for 20 years for the former U.S. Envelope Company (Westvaco) in Springfield. Rita was a communicant of Mary, Mother of Hope Church, East Springfield. She enjoyed square dancing with her late husband Carl, who predeceased her in 1977. Rita is survived by her daughter, Cynthia A. Quinn and her husband Donal of Springfield; a sister, Melodie Albino of Monson; two grandchildren, Jeffrey M. Quinn and his wife Melissa of Wakefield, MA and Jill A. Quinn of Springfield; a great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn A. Potter-Quinn; and two nieces, Lila Albino and Claire Mawaka. Funeral services for Rita will assemble on Thursday, March 11th beginning at 9 a.m. from the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Hope Church, 840 Page Blvd., East Springfield, with Fr. Michael Bernier officiating. Rites of Committal and burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, 1601 State St., Springfield. Rita's family will receive relatives and friends at the visiting hours on Wednesday, March 10th from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
