Born in Manchester, CT on June 18, 1957 he was the son of the late Robert B. Morse, Sr. and Josephine (Odermann) Morse. Robert graduated from Howell Cheney Technical High School and worked as a machinist at Pratt and Whitney. Robert was an avid fisherman and loved nature. He leaves his two daughters, Christine and Tiffany Morse; his sister, Patricia Carney and her husband Daniel; his grandchildren, Lauren and Lucas; his niece, Jennifer Carney; and his nephew, Michael Carney.
