Robert M. Webb Jr.1931-2015Robert "Bob" M. Webb Jr., 83, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. He was born in Winchendon, MA on February 20, 1931, a son of the late Robert M. and Mary R. (Johnson) Webb. Robert graduated from Murdock High School and received an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from Springfield Technical Community College. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam Conflict, servicing his country for 20 years and retiring in 1972 with the rank of MSGT. After he retired from the U.S. Air Force, Robert was a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and retired after 20 years of service. He was a longtime member of the Pine Point Golden Ager's. Robert loved to golf and bowl and enjoyed climbing Mt. Monadnock. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ann R. (Lefebre) Webb of Springfield; five children, Steven Webb of Dallas, PA, Gary Webb and his wife Bettie of Rahway, NJ, Lynne Ainsworth of Springfield, Kathy Morrone and her husband Michael of Cranston, RI, and David Webb of Springfield; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Ronald Webb of Winchendon, MA, and Gerald Webb and his wife Joyce of Gardner, MA; a sister, Margie DeLine of Winchendon, MA; and several nieces and nephews. A committal service will be held at a later date in the MA. Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Agawam. There are no visiting hours.
