Rose H. Patenaude 1920-2012LUDLOW- Rose H. (Gannon) Patenaude, 92, of Ludlow and formerly of Indian orchard, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 9, 2012. She was born on March 20, 1920, in Brattleboro, VT, a daughter of the late Edward and Minnie (Goodwin) Gannon. Rose was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and obtained the rank of Private First Class. She was predeceased by her husband, Ovila Patenaude in 1971; and a son, Andre Patenaude in 1962. Rose is survived by three daughters, Theresa Louise Patenaude of Springfield, Annette Guevin and her husband Robert of Ludlow, and Catherine "Cathy" Hensley and her husband Paul of Ludlow; five grandchildren, Khristine Morin, Keith and Andrew Roxo, Stephen Hensley, and Jennifer Castro; and five great-grandchildren, Kristen, Heather and Jacob Castro, and Aubrey and Luke Morin. A funeral home service will be held on Thursday, August 16th at 10 a.m. at the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., with Rites of Committal to follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, 1273 Berkshire Ave., both in Indian Orchard.
