Stanley S. Strycharz

Stanley S. Strycharz, 68, of Springfield passed away at Bay State Medical Center on Thursday July 7. Stanley was born in Ludlow on December 12, 1947 to the late Gifford and Stella (Piontkowski) Strycharz. He proudly served our country with the US Army during Vietnam .Stanley received an honorable discharge and rank of Specialist E 5 for his service. He worked for over 30 years for Milton Bradley and Hasbro in East Longmeadow. Stan had a green thumb, enjoyed cooking and fishing. He will be truly missed by all that knew him. Stan is survived by his brothers Eugene and his wife Barbara Strycharz and Chester Strycharz; aunts Mona Piontkowski and Nancy Piontkowski and uncle Francis; cousin Marianne Moreno and her husband John. Memorial contributions in Stan's name can be made to the American Lung Association, 1661 Worcester Road, Ste 301, Framingham, MA 01701. At the request of Stan's family all services will be private.
