Susan V. Tremble

INDIAN ORCHARD-Susan V. Tremble, 66, of Champlain Street in the Indian Orchard section of Springfield passed away peacefully at Baystate Medical Center on Saturday morning, May 12, 2018, after a brief illness. Sue was born in Ludlow on June 9, 1951, a daughter of the late Eugene and Rita (Dumas) Duby. She was raised and educated in Ludlow and was a graduate of Ludlow High School, class of 1969. Sue worked for Aetna Insurance Co. for 12 years in Springfield and had also worked at the former Zayre's Department stores in her younger years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her daughters and grandchildren. She spoiled her four legged friends and they returned it with the unconditional love they always showed her; her dogs Cooper and Dakota and her cat Junior. Sue enjoyed their family vacations, especially to Virginia Beach. Her beloved husband, Ronald J. Tremble passed away on January 13, 2009. She leaves her devoted daughters; Kim Gibbons and her husband Brian of Belchertown, Kelly Warren and her husband, Peter Jr. of Springfield and Kylene Tremble, with whom she lived with in Indian Orchard. In addition Sue leaves her four beloved grandchildren; Brandyn, Christian and Andrew Warren and Kasey Gibbons. She also leaves her brother, Richard Duby of Belchertown and her sister, Marion Nummy of North Brookfield and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Janet Granger, of Ludlow. Calling hours at the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard will be Wednesday afternoon, May 16, 2018, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Committal service with Catholic Rites will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery 1390 Main St., Agawam.
