CHICOPEE- Sylvia A. (Valliere) Henault, 73, a long time Ludlow resident, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 4, 2011 in Birch Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Ludlow on August 19, 1937 the daughter of the late Clarence and Regina (Haslam) Valliere. Sylvia was a communicant of St. Jude Church, Indian Orchard, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 337, Aldenville. She was predeceased by her husband, Roger W. Henault on March 11, 2006. Sylvia is survived by her son, Scott Henault and his wife Michele; a grandson, Andrew D. Henault, all of Charlton, MA; three brothers, Thomas Valliere of Palmer, James Valliere of Springfield, and Richard Valliere of Walpole. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 9th beginning at 10 a.m. from the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., with a Liturgy of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Jude Church, 221 Main St., with Rites of Committal to follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, 1273 Berkshire Ave., all in Indian Orchard. Sylvia's family will receive relatives and friends at the gathering on Wednesday, June 8th from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
