Theresa Marie Degrandpre

Theresa M. DeGrandpre 1929-2008   Theresa Marie (Goyette) DeGrandpre, 79, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2008 in Baystate Medical Center.  Born in Agawam and a long time resident of Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Hermine (Crepeau) Goyette. A loving wife, mother and homemaker, Theresa was also a communicant of St. Jude Church of Indian Orchard. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene R. DeGrandpre in 1994 and by her siblings, Clovis and Edward Goyette, Dorothy Haffler, Rita Noonan and Gertrude Loncto.  Theresa leaves her children, Eugene R. DeGrandpre, Jr., of Wilbraham, Ernest DeGrandpre of Westfield, Cheryl DeGrandpre of Springfield, Michelle Dunn and her husband, Tom of Westhampton , Ann Mancini and her husband, Fred of Chicopee; two brothers, Alfred Goyette and Donald Goyette both of Feeding Hills, a sister, Evelyn Narcovich of Cranston, RI; eleven grandchildren, Richard, Amy and her husband, Lester, Thomas, Jennifer, Timothy, Amber, Kris, Paul, Gillian, Matthew and Benjamin; and two great grandchildren, Michael and Eric.  Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St., Indian Orchard from 4 to 8 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2008 from the Ratell Funeral Home at 9 a.m., followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Jude Church 221 Main St., Indian Orchard at 10 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard.
