Wayne R. Ragsdale

Wayne R. Ragsdale 1956-2009   Wayne R. Ragsdale, 52, of Chicopee, passed away on Tuesday May 5, 2009 in the loving presence of his family and after a courageous struggle with cancer at UMASS Medical Center, Worcester   Born in Springfield he resided there most of his life before moving to Chicopee for the past few years.  He was the son of the late Frederick and Caroline (Barnes) Ragsdale.  Wayne was a floor installer for CJB Flooring Co.  He enjoyed cars, motorcycles and fishing.  Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son, Jason Ragsdale in 2001.  Wayne is survived by his sister, Donna Wood and her husband Daniel of Springfield, his niece Jenn Bouchard of Springfield, a nephew Sean Bouchard of Ludlow and his girlfriend Laura Collins and her daughters Katie and Chrissy of Chicopee.  Family and friends may gather at the Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St., Indian Orchard on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 9 a.m., to process to Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker St., Springfield for a Graveside Service at 10 a.m. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009  from 4 - 7 p.m.  For Guest Book visit ratellfuneralhome.com
