William A. Johnston

William A. Johnston1954-2014William A. Johnston, 60, of Chicopee, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at home. Born in Ludlow on January 10, 1954, he was the son of the late William B. Johnston Jr. and Margaret (Duquette) Johnston. Bill worked most recently as a machine repair technician for Avery Dennison, and previously worked for Atlas Copco in Holyoke and Kollmorgen in Northampton. He was certified as a reenactment cannon and musket operator. Bill had a passion for hunting deer and turkey and loved camping. He also was very strong in his Native American culture. Bill leaves his daughter Colleen M. Johnston and her fiancé Pete Bryant; his brother Robert Johnston; his sister Heather Koziol and her husband Ronald; his two grandchildren Veronica J.
