Yvonne M. Taillefer

Yvonne M. (Pelletier) Taillefer, 80, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2015 at the Wingate of Hampden. She was born on January 5, 1935 to the late Joseph and Braida (Tyrell) Pelletier. She was a graduate of Commerce High School, class of 1953. Yvonne, or as she was kindly known by her friends and family, "Winkie" moved to Lake Worth, Florida where she lived for many years before moving back into Ludlow to be closer to her family. Before retiring to Florida with her late husband, Raymond E. Taillefer, they own and operated the family business, Sweep IT in Indian Orchard for over 30 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her children two sons; Michael K. Taillefer and his wife Cheryl, Raymond E. Taillefer, and his wife Sheree, three daughters; Beverly Johnson ,Lisa Deliz and Kimberly Long , a brother; Joseph, and his wife Ellen, three sisters; Joanie Paquin, Barbara Brunelle, Kathleen Pelletier and her wife, Judy Nicoll and seven grandchildren; Mariza Taillefer Leal and her husband, Luciano Leal, Dereck Taillefer, Michael Johnson, Moises Deliz, Brandy and her husband Darrin Snyder, Kayla Johnson and Jessica Long and one great-grandson, Nathan.and a host of nieces and nephews. Yvonne was predeceased by her husband Raymond and her brothers Leon "Dick" Pelletier and Louis "Butch" Pelletier. A celebration of Yvonne's life will be held at Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main Street, Indian Orchard on Sunday, December 6 from 2- 5 PM. Burial will be held at the conveniences of the family.
