LUDLOW-Glenn R. Palmer, 68, of Stivens Terrace passed away following complications from heart surgery on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He was born in Springfield on July 16, 1951 the son of Carol Palmer of Ludlow and the late Robert Palmer. He was raised and educated in Springfield and graduated from Springfield Technical High School. He furthered his education and attended Western New England College. Glenn worked as a Driver for Toco Express for many years before retiring. He leaves his beloved mother, Carol (Dilks) Palmer of Ludlow, his siblings Diane Felton of Springfield and Alan Palmer of Carlisle, Pa., and many nieces and nephews. Glenn was a wonderful son, brother and uncle. Everyone who knew him knew his amazing wit and laughter. His biggest interests were always classic cars and airplanes and he always looked forward to his trips to Carlisle and Hershey for the car shows. He had an inquiring mind and was always on the computer looking up things that caught his interest. He had a group of lifelong friends who he enjoyed spending time with. He was a caring son, wonderful brother and an all-around good man with a wonderful and witty sense of humor. Family and friends will gather to remember Glenn on Wednesday evening from 4 to 6 p.m. at RATELL FUNERAL HOME, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard. Funeral services will be Thursday morning, November 7, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at RATELL FUNERAL HOME followed by burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Parker St., Spfld.
