LUDLOW- Jessica Lynn Remillard, 40, of 109 Cady Street in Ludlow passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at home. Jessica will always be remembered as a loving and caring mother, daughter, sister, friend and so much more and who always had a smile to help brighten your day. Jessica was born on July 8, 1979 in Springfield, Mass. She grew up in Palmer, attending local schools and graduated from Pathfinder Regional High School. Jess worked at Baystate Medical Center in the Medical Records department for 10 years before leaving to go back to school. She graduated from Springfield Technical Community College with honors and was a month away from receiving her degree in Social Work from Elms College in Chicopee where she made the Dean’s list every semester. Jessica loved music and being with family and friends. Her loved for people and the willingness to help others guided her towards the field of Social Work. She had a good heart and would have been an angel to so many people if she had been able to put her education to work, the world has lost a kind and gentle soul. She leaves her beloved children; Ryan T. Lancaster of Springfield and Keira L. Lancaster of Ludlow. Her devoted parents; William “Bill” Remillard and Holly Bousquet, both of Ludlow. Her siblings; William T. Remillard II, James Curry, Erica Moye and Cindy Remillard, her good friend, Patricia Calkins, cherished grandparents and the extended members of the Remillard and Bousquet families.
Family and friends will gather to remember Jessica on at the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard on Monday, December 23, 2019 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Catholic Service of Remembrance at 11:00 a.m. at Ratell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, 1273 Berkshire Ave., Indian Orchard.
