AGAWAM-Lawrence S. “Larry” Dominick, 76, of Heritage Woods passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Baystate Medical Center. Larry was born in Springfield on June 16, 1943, a son of the late Arthur S. and Florence E. (Bongiovanni) Dominick. He was raised and educated in Indian Orchard, attending local schools and graduated from Springfield Trade High School. He enlisted in the United States Coast Guard in 1961, proudly serving as a Seaman 1st Class aboard the Coast Guard Cutter, USCGC Cactus. He was honorably discharged in 1965 and returned home. Larry worked as a Meat Cutter over 30 years for Carando’s Meats before retiring, he had previously worked for Alamac Knitting Mills in Indian Orchard. Larry loved his Recliner, whether watching his favorite TV shows or simply reading a good history book. Larry was predeceased by his daughter, Vicki Anderson. He leaves his wife, Carole (Buzzell) Dominick. His children; Tammie Griffin of Monson, Scott Griffin of Springfield and Michael Anderson of Indiana. His grandchildren; Bryan, Kylie, Dale, Destiny, Logan, and a great grandchild Hadleigh Mae. Larry also leaves his brother, Arthur “Chip” Dominick and his wife Judith of Holyoke. The Family invites you to join them directly at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. for the Rites of Christian burial and United States Coast Guard Honors for Larry.
