Theresa B. (Jodoin) Marceau, 90, of Indian Orchard passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Vero of South Hadley. Theresa was born in Springfield on March 26, 1931, a daughter of the late Omer A. and Juliette R. (Rainville) Jodoin. Theresa loved being a housewife, tending to her home and decorating for family and friends. She married Clarence Marceau and they enjoyed seventy years of love, happiness, family and wonderful memories. Theresa enjoyed music, often after family dinners, the family would gather and enjoy the wonderful bands. She was a devoted communicant of Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church in Springfield. Theresa loved the New England Patriots and especially their QB, Tom Brady. She leaves her devoted daughters; Christine Gilbert of Worthington and Judith Almeida and her husband Richard of Ludlow, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren She also leaves her sister in law, Gloria Flynn of East Longmeadow and sister in law, Carol Marceau of Wilbraham and many nieces and nephews. Theresa was sadly predeceased by her brother, Leonard Jodoin. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St. Springfield followed by a Liturgy of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church, 417 Boston Rd., Spfld. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery in Indian Orchard.
